Erebus Haunted Attraction

Finally made it out to Erebus and it left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. We paid for the faster entry tickets thinking it would cut down the wait, but between the outside line and the holding areas we were left waiting anyway. What's the faster pass for if VIP people cut right in front?

Once we were in, they kept cramming more groups behind us and we caught up to the people ahead of us almost immediately. By the time anything jumped out, we had already watched it happen to the group in front of us. Hard to get scared when you can see it coming from ten feet away.

If it was scarier then maybe I could get past the pass thing but it's a tough sell.

Crowds looked pretty daunting when I pulled up last night but it wound up being okay. Waited for a while sure, but so so worth it. I don't know what I was expecting but 4 separate floors of horrifying things took me by surprise. Special effects are incredible. This is not your average haunted house, this place is intense and scary and out for your soul. So much fun.

first time at erebus on saturday and I really didnt know what i was walking into - felt way too real and genuinely some of the biggest scares ive ever had at a haunted house - we were screaming basically the entire time - like an amusement park from the underworld and the devil is out to play

Took my two teenagers and they absolutely loved it. My son usually laughs at haunted houses and doesn't scare easily, so seeing him jump was pretty funny. The actors stayed completely in character the entire time.

Worth calling out that the fast pass is a must. I'm not really sure what the VIP is, too rich for my blood, but the fast pass is like 10 bucks more and the lines for regular looked really long. Weekday is probably easier. But we went on a Friday night and I think you have to pony up the extra dough if you go then.

We've been to all of them in this area, and Erebus always impresses! The staff is highly skilled, and they are always changing and improving the scares. Thank you Erebus!

We visited this house twice this year 2025, once during October for Halloween and once for their Christmas event in December.

Halloween:
Lots of actors, Some well placed jump scares, waited around 40 min with the fast pass, walk through was about 15 min.

It was a lot of fun, they will grab your legs and touch you, but nothing overbearing, actors were great and in character. The surprises in the walls are a lot of fun too and give me ptsd for any other haunt with a large space in the wall hahah. We had a blast and thought it was worth the wait and money spent. Parking was pay so we paid an additional 5 dollars to park on the street with a meter. (it does say you will pay on their website so not a surprise)

Christmas Event:
It was very busy as it was only open on two days, we purchased a fast pass once again and waited around 40 mins.

You get a picture at this haunt that you pay for, but i was a bit disappointed that there wasn't any theming for the xmas event or a santa or krampus to take a picture with like the other haunts do for free. It was the normal picture you get at the haunt. It did have writing and decoration over it when you purchased it.
There was very few actors in this haunt maybe 10, they did a horrible job of spacing us out, we ran into the group in front of us within about 5 seconds in the first room and the group behind us caught up and ran into us as well.

Due to the poor spacing we didn't really get to see the animatronics work correctly as they need time to reset and there wasn't sufficient time to reset. The actors were great that we saw, there was just not very many (which is probably due to it being xmas time).
When you are buried alive at the end even that was much less drop down and sitting there then during their Halloween event and we were put with another group because everyone was standing there waiting to take turns to do it.

Overall it felt very unorganized and rushed, it was like they were just trying to get people through as fast as they could. I was actually pretty disappointed in this haunt with their xmas event. Compared to other haunts in the area they are lacking, I think this is their fisrt year doing a xmas event so hopefully they can learn and do better next year. We still had a lot of fun but it just wasn't even close to the Halloween events.

Erebus is big. Like BIG BIG. You think it's going to be something and it just morphs into the nightmarescape of horrors. If you think you're ready I can assure you you're not.

We go every year. Still fun. Still creepy. Still scared every time.

They change enough stuff around all the time. it doesn't feel like you're paying to see the exact same thing again.

It's big. It's Halloweeny. It's great.

This was my fat the best attraction I’ve been to in years! Me and my friends never stopped screaming! It takes a lot to scare me and I wanted to back out as soon as it got dark! Thank you so much for the scares. I will definitely be back!
