The Old Jail dates back to 1906. It served to house the sheriff and his family and inmates until 1963. It is believed to be haunted by a sheriff's wife according to reports. Those who have witness haunts at the site report of hearing footsteps in the sheriff's bedroom, clothing on a mannequin being changed on it's own, and sightings of an apparition at work in the kitchen and dining room. Some even report of seeing streaks of light coming from the confinement area and feeling touched when near the jail cells.
