This building was built in 1915 but was abandoned in mid-60s after serving as a Catholic orphanage. Occupants of the orphanage have reported incidences of nuns mentally and physically abusing children. In one account, a girl caught pneumonia after laying outside during a storm and ended dying several days later. In an effort to warn other children to not act foolish, her body was placed on display for all to view by the nuns.

It is believed the apparitions of some of the children continue to exist. There have been reports of crying children heard when passing the property at night.

I have been in this building on a few occasions and did not believe until I expirenced a few things that I won't forget and want to know more about. Me and a few friends were on the top floor when we heard noises and we thought it was some else checking the building out so we were going to scare them because it was devils night. I was huddled up by two friends and my other friend was way ahead saying all kinds of foolish things when what seemed to be a joke became very real and serious and scary the noise was getting louder and closer and coming from different directions. Fading in and out and it became very clear what it was "children laughing". Then we all began to run Shelby especially I clenched on to them and tried to tune it out. On our way down a big green door began to rattle loudly. We stopped and I hid behind my friends and Shelby saw a little girl dressed in white and she started to freak out. As we left asap my other friend said he seen a figure in the window. Anyone knows more please let me know! What or why? Oh I almost was pushed out the window by a bird too.
