Located on University Ave. in Ann Arbor, The University of Michigan Library is believed to be a well known spot for paranormal activity. The University operates a network of libraries through the city and apparently provides a bit more than just helpful resources. Some haunting reports at the library include a shadow figure dressed in early 1900s clothing who quietly wanders through the rows of bookshelves. Witnesses have reported that the apparition looks to be very focused while moving through the library. Perhaps she is in search of a certain book? Other eerie reports surrounding the library include the sound of soft rustlings of paper, the scent of old leather-bound tomes, and an inexplicable chill that accompany this figure’s sightings.
