  • Unprofessional

After waiting 20 minutes to go into the haunted house, we were told the actors were going to take a "quick" break even though the park had only just been opened. We didn't really mind until all the actors came walking out, not in character, standing right next to the line we were waiting in, smoking and talking to the other workers! It was the most unprofessional thing I've ever seen. I could only imagine how many breaks they take every night. So after what was about 15 minutes of a break, one worker began yelling at the actors to get back into there places. We were given 3D glasses that barely could stay on my face, and were actually bent in one eye. I took them off after the first hallway because you don't even need them for the rest of the haunted house. The haunted house was overall not good. You couldn't see for most of the haunted house and the only 3D thing about it was the first hallway. After that we went on the hayride. Before we were about to start, two workers got on for who knows what reason and basically just pushed my friend rudely back so she really couldn't enjoy the hayride. After a 15 minute ride to the actual location, we began. The hayride had no theme whatsoever to it. When we first entered there was a "Welcome to Silent Hill" sign, so I thought it would be a Silent Hill theme, but it was basically just a bunch of props that they thought looked scary. The actors were not good at all. They all just repeated "I'm going to kill you" for the entire time they were there. There was even one masked actor that actually had a conversation with one of the rude workers on the ride. If the actors didn't have a mask on, their makeup was just some specks of blood, and even actors with masks on looked bad because they didn't spirit gum or try to hide the flaps of the mask. Not to mention that more than half of the actors just wore street clothes as their costume. The only positive thing I can say about the hayride was that we got a donut and cider after the ride. In conclusion, DO NOT spend your money to go here. It is horribly unprofessional and the attractions don't make up for it. It's a complete waste of money.

  • Don't do it!!!!

I went on the haunted hayride, and had hoped to be able to do the haunted house as well. Unfortunately, unless you're able to devote your entire night to Slaughtered at Sundown, it's impossible. Ticket sales started an hour before they actually start things up. So you're either going to end up at the front of the line and wait an hour, or end up at the back of the line and wait at the very least an hour. The staff had no concern for the overall enjoyment of paying customers. There was a large group of very obviously drunk college students who ruined any chance of fun for not only me and my guest, but also everyone else on the same ride, I'm sure. The staff even helped them get their cooler of beers onto the hayride!!!! Even if the drunks hadn't been there, I'd say the ride would still have been pretty lame. It's really long. Roughly 45 minutes. a majority of that time (15 minutes in, 15 minutes out) was just spent getting from the start point, into the scare zone, and then back out again to the exit. So you've only actually got 15-20 minutes of attempted scares. You definitely don't want to sit in the middle. 1/2 of the actors jump out the second the tractor pulls up- scaring the people who had seats at the very front. the other 1/2 jump out at the very very very back of the tractor. with scares the 3 or 4 people sitting there. But as for everywhere else, all you're going to experience is a man in a mask (who has already made his presence known) run past you screaming "I'm going to kill you" The route is almost entirely made up of scenes. purple lights and fake blood spewed about isn't exactly what I'd call scary. Maybe it'd be fun if you're the drunk one, but for any sober person of any age, you will not enjoy this haunted hayride.

  • Great time!

Went to the haunted house and haunted trail. Both were good. Haunted house is best one we've ever been to. The haunted trail is a good all ages ride. We'll be back for sure. Might do VIP next time so we don't have to wait in line.
