Indian battle occurred on the land of Point Iroquois Lighthouse. It was between the Ojibwe and the Iroquois. Some stories include that of a girl apparition who exists here after she was eaten by a bear -- the bear was later killed and parts of the girl were discovered inside of him.
Others who have experienced hauntings here claim of shadowy apparitions believed to be that of victims of battles. Many also claim of cold spots at the lighthouse.

Went to this lighthouse walked into the lighthouse keepers quarters and I was looking around at the displays and all of a sudden I heard "GET OUT NOW" it sounded like it was a speaker of some sort but I checked around to see if there was any sort of speaker that would say get out like that and there wasn't. Kind of freaked me out and I will say from the very moment I pulled into the parking lot at the lighthouse I felt a intense feeling of.i shouldn't be here
