  Jingling keys and uneasy feelings

  My father and mother in law decided to put me in charge of finding somewhere “cool and creepy” to spend a week in fall of 2019. I think I accidentally went too far. I saw this bed and breakfast while googling places to stay in Michigan and was drawn to it immediately. We arrived at about 8pm when it was already dark, we slowly drove up to this monstrous property with barely any streetlights and my mother and father in law slowly turn around and look at me as if I went way too far this time. We got out and were greeted by the owners son, an older gentlemen. Later that night we were playing a game that we found on the shelves downstairs at the dining room table and heard the door downstairs slam. We were the only ones staying there this night but we were told by the owner that she does sometimes come and check late at night on the over 100 year old radiators to make sure they are working. We then heard footsteps and keys being hung up. We were dead silent, nobody showed. My father in law got up terrified, and there was nobody there. The feeling in this house is indescribable. As if someone is constantly watching you. None of slept for 4 days. We may have found out why when we got up the next day and walked the outside of the beautiful property we found a gravestone on near the wall of the building. Yep. I wish I was kidding. And not saying this is related but since this trip bad things just keep happening.
